Fulton’s on the River wedding: Juliette & Bruce

There is something nerve-wracking about shooting a talented graphic designer's wedding. It is also a huge honor when you get hired by a talented graphic designer.
Meet Bruce. And, his adorable wife Juliette. Bruce, is a graphic designer.
I think it's the appreciation and complete understanding of the visual arts that makes me anxious. Artists tend to be controlling about their own work and passionate about other art forms. I worry they might grapple with the inability to just let go and have fun. You know. Let me do my job so I can deliver quality work.

Two. Easy-going. People.
Both were introduced to one another when they were part of a wedding party three and a half years ago. Bruce introduced himself to Julie several times during the day. But really, third time's a charm. Julie, finally, took notice.
Julie was put to the test when she was invited to Bruce's annual family vacation in Lake Tahoe, California. With thirty other family members. 30.
Since I did spend all afternoon and evening with his family, let me tell you something about them. Collectively, they are a quirky folk.
Tuttle. That's right. The family name is Tuttle. It will always ring in me head. Each Tuttle was so proud to be a Tuttle. A minute couldn't go by without hearing the word Tuttle spoken somewhere within hearing distance. Put a wedding together, and you get ample of Tuttles. Having said that, each and every Tuttle is welcoming, celebratory and passionate about extended family in ways that most people have ever experienced.
Not very many families like this exist.
Maybe one day I might get invited to a Tuttle vacation. Or possibly, be adopted into the Tuttle family.
Kevin Tuttle. Sounds good, yes?
