Megan and Mark’s Wedding

I could have done an entire posting of images from just the first 5 minutes of Megan and Mark's wedding.

Chadd and I didn't do any preparation imagery, and began our day with the bride and groom's meet-up.  We started in one of my favorite adorable little parks in Chicago.  It has this neat little brick-lined path with trees that cover the walk-way like something you would see in a Paris park.

Megan got situated and stood there keeping her eye on the other end of the path waiting for Mark.  Nope.  Nothing.  However, I am having a ball.  The light outside was incredible.  You know ... the kind of light that seems really bright out, yet sky is very dark with an approaching storm.

Meghan's excitement grows more.  Still, nothing.  But her poses are so incredibly natural.  She and her bride's maids laugh, and gestures to the groomsman who went to tell Mark we are ready.  But nothing.

He finally rounds the corners, and Megan gives off this incredible cheer and arches backwards laughing hysterically.

It was at that point I felt I had captured everything their wedding day was about, yet I had JUST begun.

It rained.  Hard.  Just about 10 minutes before their outdoor ceremony. It was one of those storms we see in Chicago on a regular basis.  They opted to wait it out, and try again when it broke.

Wise choices were made, and not only did they get their outdoor ceremony, they had a celebration that spanned the inside of the MCA, and the patio from the cocktail reception, dinner (which many of the guests ate outside) and during the dancing.

Congrats on a fine event, allowing me to enter your lives for 6-short hours, and witnessing the best first 5-minutes of any shoot to date.

Chat soon.

Nike Air Jordan 6.5 & AF1 black white LeBron VII White Navy Metallic Gold We first showed you some pics of thisNike Air Jordan 8 & AF1 black purple blue.. LeBron VII colorway last month and recently, they popped up again for a cameo in the LeBron James Nike Air Jordan 8 & AF1 black white blue Pro Combat commercial. Now, we get another look at this crisp Olympic-looking color scheme. The shoe features a White leather upper with large splashes of Navy Blue on the tongue, ankle section and outsole, as well as on the Flywire-threaded midpanel. Additional accents are provided by a Metallic Gold outline around the Swoosh and a few subtle hints of Red spread throughout. The White Navy Gold Air Max LeBron VIIs are expected to hit retail this fall, but if these pics are raising your anticipation levels, you can grab a pair early from MarqueeSole.
